About Me

With over 25 years of experience as a private mathematics tutor, I have supported students at every stage — from 11+ and GCSE to A-level and first-year university.  My teaching background also includes Easter Revision courses for GCSE and A-level students at Mander Portman Woodward (MPW), as well as delivering small-group supervisions in the Mathematics Department at the University of Warwick.

Academically, I hold five quantitative degrees, including qualifications in Mathematics and Theoretical Physics from Cambridge, Imperial College, and Warwick.  I am currently also pursuing a part-time Masters in Artificial Intelligence at the University of Bath.

Outside of teaching, my work experience includes highly quantitative roles in finance at a top global hedge fund and a quantitative finance start-up. These roles demanded both rigorous mathematical insight and exceptional precision — qualities I bring to my tutoring practice.

For added peace of mind, I hold an Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) certificate through my work with MPW London, ensuring a safe and professional environment for all students.
